WHAT'S NEW...

UPDATED February 17, 2008

• Jason is teaching Ministry Training Center classes Tuesdays and Thursdays in our home and then on Saturdays in Mufulira, about an hour and a half drive away.
  

• We moved into our own home (rented) October 18.  The cost of rent in Zambia is outrageous.  We are paying more to live in this house which needs TONS of attention and repair, than we did living on our little cul-de-sac in Redmond. 
  

• We count it a miracle that we found used appliances and some furniture for a fraction of the cost we thought we would pay.  Thank you JESUS!

• Our home is surrounded by a high wall, as are most in Zambia, BUT we also have the Matamba family living on the same property.  Both husband and wife are well trained in Karate.  Our children thoroughly enjoy Karate lessons Zambian style.

• All of our contacts and friends are either Zambian, Indian (India), or Chinese.  This has proved to be a great way to learn the culture of our new homeland.

• I (Beckie) started a BLOG where I journal my thoughts and events several times a week.  The blog does not replace this website, it compliments it.  The website's main focus is to provide information while my BLOG is where I will record what I think and feel about the information.
